About Columbus Chamber of Commerce

Columbus Chamber of Commerce is a leading membership-driven local chamber located in Columbus, Ohio. It has members all across Ohio Country, Virginia Military District. It was founded in 1910 and is a registered member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Columbus Chamber of Commerce’s mission statement broadly covers and conveys - We help businesses grow and thrive. We serve over 1300 small to medium sized businesses in the Central Ohio Region through our four distinct pillars of service and intentional event programming.

Working as a Columbus’s small business community, the Chamber has created strategic partnerships within the local business network, which has resulted in a mutually beneficial relationship.

Columbus Chamber of Commerce is committed to focus on Economic Development, Small Businesses Support. It leverages the expertise of local government, city council members and community representatives to develop pro-business initiatives. For strengthening, referring and connecting local businesses, the organization also works with Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs).

The organization helps small businesses in building and establishing business credibility, improving your business visibility, developing business network, getting more customer referrals, providing legislative services, directing access to chamber events and programs, members-only discounts and services, business owners can attend ongoing training & education sessions, business advocacy for your business, valuable partnership opportunities through business - event tie ups, exclusive mailing list access, portraying yourself as a local expert in your business type, added promotion through chambers social media, relocation and expansion support, providing market information, opportunity to be listed in the chamber of commerce visitor guide, promoting broader pro-business initiatives, new member mentoring program.

The Chamber has many benefits, services and discounts that it offers to its membership holders. Some of the benefits include starting and growing new business, getting help in state and federal online business registration, small business administration, creating a business plan and building entrepreneurial skills, setting up business expansion strategies, buying a business or franchise, small business loans and commercial finance, budgeting and financial forecasting, improving marketing strategies, recruitment and finding right candidate, understanding international trade commission, buying and leasing business equipment’s, business relocating or expanding to new locations help, import and export assistance, technical assistance training and many more.

The trade union has a wide variety of events from monthly networking mixers to annual luncheons to build and enhance member businesses. It offers engaging events such as Member Orientation, Columbus Chamber Small Business Leader Award, The Columbus Award.

Columbus Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Safelite AutoGlass, Crane Group, Honda Logistic, Fifth Third Bank, Vorys Law Firm, Columbia Gas of Ohio, Columbus 2020, VSP Global for the economic development and growth of greater Columbus, Ohio.
